Dynamic Audio Best Practices
Purpose
This article outlines the best practices for dynamic audio creatives using Imposium and Creative Manager.
Requirements
Audio file
- Audio files should be stitched together as needed within Imposium, for example, base audio + offer-specific + dealer-specific.
- Finalized audio renders should be exported from Imposium and uploaded to Creative Manager.
Note: A dynamic creative file setup is not feasible for audio.
Static companion banner
- Companion placements currently only support standalone creative files, making a dynamic setup infeasible.
- Each static image asset is uploaded to Creative Manager as a non-dynamic creative.
Naming conventions
When creating an audio creative in Creative Manager, the Creative Name is derived from the audio asset.
- While spaces are allowed in the Creative Name, you cannot have spaces in the audio asset filename.
- If spaces are required in the Creative Name, each creative must be renamed individually after audio creatives have been created in Creative Manager.
For this reason, it is highly recommended that you name your audio files according to the desired final Creative Names.
Performance issues
Audio file uploads to Creative Manager should be kept to batches of about 100 to avoid overloading issues with the system.
Overwriting approved audio creatives
- Reject the audio creative file.
- Overwrite the creative asset in the asset manager.
- Reapprove the creative file.
SLAs
The production timelines for the Master Template build depend on complexity and range from 2 to 4 business days.
Imposium
Composition settings
- Set the duration to 15s or 30s.

- Audio Output is MP3.
Variables
- One variable per audio asset type, for example, base, offer, or dealer.
- Assets are uploaded and tagged in Imposium.
